Our founder started Harpy out of a passion for delivering high-quality, meaningful work that drives real change. With over seven years of experience in government and the social impact sector, Alexander discovered his calling in transforming how organizations communicate, engage, and operate efficiently.
Rooted in his heritage as a proud Panamanian, Alexander drew inspiration from Panama’s national bird—the Harpy Eagle. Known for its boldness, focus, and strategic vision, the eagle symbolizes what Harpy Strategy stands for: the ability to zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to deliver with precision.
Panama carries a saying: “Puente del mundo, corazón del universo”—Bridge of the world, heart of the universe. That spirit lives in Harpy Strategy.

Alexander González, MA, MS, MBA, is a communications strategist, creative storyteller, and organizational advisor passionate about helping organizations operate with purpose and efficiency.
With a background in government communications and public affairs, Alexander has led initiatives and campaigns that strengthen trust between organizations and the communities they serve. His approach blends strategic insight, cultural awareness, and design thinking, allowing him to craft solutions that are both visionary and practical.
Born in Panamá City, Panamá, Alexander brings a global perspective rooted in empathy, curiosity, and bold ideas.
His philosophy is simple: powerful communication isn’t just about what you say, it’s about how it connects, inspires, and drives change.
